call to the chosen. by: jesjka (24/M/Stroudsburg, PA) 8/25/99 1:38 am Msg: 1 of 216 you are out there and you know who you are, you are from another time some eons ago. you came here to witness one of the greatest events of the universe. you all feel apart, alone, unwanted. you feel as if you belong somewhere else. the time of change is here. now is the time for the chosen ones to awaken and help assist the blind thru the shifting of the ages.you are the light of the world... not of this one, but the one to come. peace.

    I feel that I am chosen by: jaawolfe (F/Arizona) 8/25/99 10:21 am Msg: 3 of 217
I can relate to your statement. Can you elaborate more? I was told by a Mayan healer, who had age-regressed me back to Atlantis, that I am a chosen one to "assist the blind thru the shifting of the ages". I would like to hear your story.

heres an outline. by: jesjka (24/M/Stroudsburg, PA) 8/25/99 12:54 pm Msg: 4 of 217
i was dead or dying at one point, drug over and dose heart problems. i am lying on the side of the road knowing this is it and i don't believe it was a mental cry or a physical one, but i cried, "jesus save me." big white light. BAM i stand up go to the hospital. life is never the same. one month later i walk from georgia to pennsylvania, 6 months later i leave for germany and end up staying for 11 1/2 months,6 months later i return to romania, staying in europe again for 5 months. during all this time i am pretty much alone, i got to know myself, what i could do and what i couldn't as i was living one day at a time in the streets of forgiegn countries. then i get back to the states in 1998. in the beginning of 1999 i started kung fu classes, i was a natural, i quit drinking and smoking and doing things the old way. i started to meet people and situations all at the right times. started to look at the stars and the sky, i began to feel free, then i began reading some books that just began falling into my hands about energy, healing, chi, inner peace, blah blah. i eat it up. everything just started to make sense recently as i went out west for a 6 day drive, where i aquired a spiritual workbook from a hitchiker and his dog named reno. i really can't explain it all at once it is like i am someone completely different. i believe in all things now. and the coming shift in the ages is something i have been dreaming about experiencing for as long as i can remember, just think of the times we live in now. every sentient being in the universe is wanting its part in history here on earth, read the papers, they are popping up everywhere. old souls here in the 90's are done, it is to much excitement for them, they are leaving, the new ones are coming in, the bible declares that in the last days He will pour out His spirit onto the earth. it is time to wake up and begin to understand our function in the days to come. people will need help in understanding. they will just need genuine help.

    Hi jesjka! by: apprentice73 (19/M) 8/26/99 3:06 pm Msg: 5 of 217
I dont think that all the old souls are leaving...nor the young ones. Well a soul cannot be young or old. I mean that we have always existed and will always exist, right? But in the sence of reincarnation or multiple lives. A soul only reincarnates if it feels that the earth has something it wants. Like the most truly enlightened souls are the ones that want nothing. If they want nothing they have no reason to come back. That is how you tell between an advanced and non-advanced soul. Ask what they want. Just a thought!

    Agree to a certain degree... by: seeker444_13 8/27/99 3:12 am Msg: 6 of 217
with your statement. However, I would offer an additional perspective. Your comment: "A soul only reincarnates if it feels that the earth has something it wants." indicates a wish to take something a soul feels it needs. There is also the possibility that an advanced soul would wish to return to the physical realm in order to give. Perhaps part of that soul's enlightenment has included a desire to assist those who are still advancing.
Just a thought. Would love to hear your comments.

    you misunderstand.... by: jesjka (0/M/here) 8/27/99 5:38 pm Msg: 11 of 217
it is not a cult, it is the truth. we are spirits, simple as that. we are perfect, we are forgiven, we are all sons of God, we are blessed, we are saved, salvation is everyones, you just have to believe that is all, that is what jesus taught. if we believe His words then this is the realization we will get, we have the mind of christ which knows all things, throw off your worldly thinking of seperation and division and religion and cults, pah, we are all the same, we are all created by one Creator. God shows know favoritism, if one is saved then all are saved. and spirits can come and go as they chose from one temple to another at will, it is the gift of their Creator to do so, and i have chosen or been chosen, if it will make sense to you, to help mankind understand this new spiritual rebirth here on the planet. peace.

I don't think I made myself clear. I apologize. I was not calling this a cult. I was responding to the person who *did* call this a cult. What I meant by showing a definition was to clarify that Christianity, Judiaism, Islamic and so forth organized religions are all *cults*. Society throws terms such as *cult* around all the time for things that they disagree, don't understand or are afraid of. I know nothing about what this perticular worship is about I was just replying to the person who seems to like to group people negatively just because the don't agree. Sorry for the misunderstanding. hisandhers

Good point about wanting to return to the physical world 'just for fun'.
I know what you mean about feeling the changes that are upon us. The vast amount of people who are awakening to their spirituality is glorious to see. I'm so excited to be a part of it. Those that have decided to stay in their 'safe', narrow, little worlds are missing out on the opportunity to FULLY experience the coming age - only because they let their fear hold them back. Thanks be to Spirit that this will not be held against them.
I just finished reading a book that gave me an even more joyful outlook on what is to come. You might find it interesting - especially when the 'end-time doomsayers' get wound up. It's called ON THE WINGS OF HEAVEN by G.W. Hardin and Joe Crane. (It can be ordered through Amazon.) It speaks of how organized religion has used it's usurped power to teach fear instead of love. It also gives an understandable interpretation of what the book of Revelation is really all about. I found it to make much more sense than what has been said about it for years.
I wish you joy in your journey. In Love, Light, and much Laughter,
    seeker444

I think I might be a chosen one. I feel things that I can't describe and certain events in my life have showed me that I have something I need to do in my time here on earth. You might think I'm crazy, but during times when life was hard and I thought I didn't want to live, I tried to commit suicide. I couldn't, a part of me said "be strong, you are needed." Thanks be that I'm over that now, and I have a greater appreciation for myself and others. I find beauty in the slender trunks of tall trees and magic in the eyes of my cat, life blowing in the wind like a whisper from some unseen deity, and most of all I have found that when I look in mirrors, my reflection is different from my true self. *blush* Um, that was a bit long and flowery, and I hope you don't think I'm a nut but everything I've said is true. I look at emails from, and the actions of, my friends when they say "EMAIL THIS PERSON WITH CUSS WORDS. HE HATES SIMPSONS." and I try to think WHY they spread such hate. I feel it in the typed words and wonder how they can't see the viciousness of a circle of hate. I let things go, I try not to judge people, but I find these things easy whereas others worship god(s) all their lives and still don't see that a part of true inner peace comes from mutual human gratitude! It just makes me amazed. Um.... Any thoughts on this??? ~*Warm strength and happiness unto all*~

I believe I might be one of the chosen ones. I feel things I can't exactly describe and because of certain events in my life, I have found that I have something I am supposed to do in my time here on earth. I guess you might think I'm crazy, but years ago when life was getting tough and I thought I didn't want to live, I tried to commit suicide, but a part of me said "You cannot. You are needed." Thanks be I am over that now, and I am changed. I find beauty in the slender trunk of a tall tree and magic in the eyes of my cat, life blowing on the wind like a whisper from a unseen deity, and when I look in the mirror, my reflection is not that of what I feel I am. I look at the actions of my friends (example: email) Saying "EMAIL THIS GUY WITH CUSS WORDS< HE HATES SIMPSONS!" Can't they feel the hate in it like I do? Don't they understand that a circle of hate is terrible? I try to let things go, and not judge people, and I find these easy, but some people worship God(s) all their lives and never realize that part of inner happiness is from mutual human gratitude. Um... any thoughts???

There WOULD be a chance, were we more prone to seek and aspire to the positive, instead of the prurient, "jerry springer" negative drek that we seem so very prone to default to.

Sounds like a plan! buuuttt...then we'd just be sinking to the lowest common denominator. However, Zen teachers have been known to wack their students on the head with a stick to stimulate the leap into egoless, spontaneous response.

A Zen Master, You Certainly Are Not... by: zenlightened_one (29/M/Langley, BC, Canada) 10/31/99 7:19 pm Msg: 33 of 217
Please do not defile my Zen beliefs, by suggesting, non-chalantly, that you should be a Zen master. That is similar to proclaiming to a Christian, that you are , in fact, the Christ, come back... You are nowhere NEAR mastering anything remotely like that, of Zen. You are far too opinionated and biased, to have 'unlearned' what we have been conditioned to think, or feel, in this interesting world of ours. I have practised Zen for some time, now, and have also travelled the world, to such places as Machu Piccu, The Acropolis, Stonehenge, etc.,and also have seen some horrible atrosities, such as being caught in the middle of a civil war, in La Paz, Bolivia, seeing first-hand, the death squads that roam freely in South America. Even I have many things to learn, by unlearning. You sound far too angry with the technological world (I notice that you hate technology so much, that you seem to rely on it daily, to post messages), we now exist in. As I've said, previously, on another Message Board, read the 'Unabomber Manifesto', and then survey what you are writing, to all these message boards... do you notice anything interesting? Do you share Kaczinsky's fate? I do not wish peace OR ill will for you, simply enlightenment. Zen would teach, in this situation, that we do not see our technological world is to be destroyed, but instead, we see it, we accept it, and we live in harmony with everything we experience, and feel...without an opinion on such topics, as it just IS. From where I sit, at this keyboard, you have much to learn, 'Grasshopper'. We ALL have much to learn, or rather, step outside ourselves, and UNLEARN, so that we may see things as they truly are, as opposed to what we think they are. Good luck to you, however, it seems that you are already convinced that you have all the answers, therefore I doubt that you are open to future learning experiences. It is when we think we have all the answers, that we cease to be open to the lessons we might learn, in future life experience. This world, IS - and neither you, nor I can stop any of it, therefore, I suggest you embrace it for what it is, or risk getting caught up in your own opinions, fruitlessly. Om Ma Ne Pad Me Om, or translated, " I am the lightning bolt, in the dark void"... the very foundation of Zen.

i do not claim to be of any religious belief... zen or christian... i simply am just here... i have understanding far surpassing any global system of thought... and i too have travelled and seen and experienced... i do not hate technology... i only disdain the way it has been abused... i accept the only fact that i am a spiritual creature and that i am a part of the one Creator of all life... if i defiled your zen beliefs then they must be vey weak beliefs... lacking true faith in them... for you have done nothing to shake my faith in my beliefs... i will stand alone against the world and die rather than to believe anything else... that is faith... that is enlightenment... peace.

You contradict yourself, constantly, and so, I shall not post another message to you, after this message. I assure you, I am a very serious practitioner of Zen, and, though I have said that I still have much to learn, you have seemed to think that I was putting myself into the 'master's shoes', so to speak. That cannot be more inaccurate. P.S., Zen is NOT a religion, it is simply a way of viewing the world, from the outside, looking in...and I assure you, my 'faith' in Zen, will certainly not be compromised by someone, who believes they know all. You have simply given up the quest for any learning experience, rendering you, stuck in your ways. Change is inevitable...embrace it, Jeskja, don't oppose it, or , indeed, you shall be consumed by what life shall bring for you. When opposing life, you defeat only yourself. Life will be the victor, every time. It is bigger than you, or I.

    Don't believe something...know it!
Belief is another word for opinion,
    and like assholes
    everbody's got one.
Standing alone against the world and dying for your beliefs seems so dramatic. Try laughing at it and yourself instead. We tend to take our 'little selves' too seriously and when some-one fails to respect us in the proper way we tend to let it knock us off-center. Keep your center and to hell with the worlds oppinion!
